Coach Joe, the owner/consultant for All About Choices (LLC), a post held since establishing the firm more than fifteen years ago. Coach Joe has a background as a healthcare professional with 30 years of educational and behavioral-mental health experience in diverse settings. Coach Joe's expertise ranges from adult-juvenile court systems, state welfare agencies, faith-based communities, marriage-couples support groups, youth residential care homes, community-based behavioral/mental health and substance abuse, Leadership Development, and a Professional Speaker. His approach to therapy is an eclectic therapist using brief and solution-focused techniques and cognitive-behavioral, reality, and psychodynamic approaches. He has a broad background in program development, service delivery, individual, group, couples, family counseling, and crisis intervention & assessments.

He is trained and certified in multiple discipline areas: Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, Couples/Relationship Counseling, Trauma-Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Impact-Parent Education, Choice Based Anger Management, Shoplifting-Theft Prevention, and Values Clarification, Thinking for a Change, Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART), and Life Skill Education. Coach Joe is a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) by the State of Georgia and has achieved National Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.).

He has obtained multiple certifications throughout his career. Coach Joe is a Certified Anger Management Specialist, a Georgia Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III (GCADC), a Certified Masters Addiction Counselor (M.A.C.), a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional-Diplomate (CCDP-D), a Certified Georgia DBHDD-DUI Clinical Evaluator, a Certified Relationship Coach and Certified Professional Coach, Leadership Development Trainer and Professional Speaker. He's an approved State of Georgia ASAM I/II Treatment Provider certified by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence as a Family Violence Intervention Facilitator.  Coach Joe is trained in Family/Couples Relationship Counseling.
